Life Cycle Information
‘Zinc for Life’ is generating cradle-to-gate LCI studies for primary zinc (from mine to ingot) and for key first-tier uses (such as galvanizing). These LCI datasets can thus be used as building blocks of various LCA studies which then consider the whole product system of an application, for instance roofing, and also calculate the environmental impacts for the full life cycle.
